Title: Sumba Plundered
Artist: Jason Childs
Definitely one place you don’t want to lose your board and end up having to swim in! The story goes, Occy lost his board at Nihiwatu back in the early days (Occys’ Left) and nearly drowned.

PHOTOGRAPHERS BIO
As a photojournalist, Jason is as experienced and as passionate as they come. For three decades Jason has been working as an in-demand professional photographer. He began a staff photography position at The Age newspaper in his hometown of Melbourne, Australia. In 1992 Jason left Australia to fulfil his ambitions of travelling the world and shooting International Sporting Events: Olympics, Moto GP, Ashes Cricket, ATP Tour, ASP Surfing. He quickly built a highly successful career contributing images to a wide variety of photo agencies, newspapers, magazines, and books.
As a passionate surfer and traveller, Jason established himself as one of the most valued and prolific published surf photographers in the sport. Since 1985, his surfing and beach lifestyle photography has stood firmly among the best in the world and has graced the covers of every major surf and beach lifestyle magazine on the globe, including the prestigious USA publication Surfer Magazine and Tracks Magazine where he has a long history dating back to shootings the ASP Ripcurl comps at Bells in the 1980s and then scoring covers and spreads with Tracks and Waves Mag from his first Indonesian trip to Bali and Nias in 1989. In the last five years, Jason has evolved his photography and embraced technology in photography- his latest weapon of choice is the Drone!
My favourite studio is the outdoors. The best studios are the ones that I discover along the way travelling to new destinations and documenting the surf, culture, and its indigenous peoples.

✓ Sustainably Sourced Materials: Our frames are constructed using solid timber that is FSC certified, reflecting our dedication to sustainable sourcing practices.
✓ Superior Clarity Acrylic: The acrylic used in our frames surpasses traditional glass or 'perspex' in both clarity and durability, offering a crystal-clear view of the artwork without compromising on strength.
✓ Optimal Artwork Presentation: While all clear surfaces naturally reflect some light, we avoid using non-reflective films on our acrylic. Such treatments can diminish the colour and vibrancy of the art. Our approach ensures your artwork is presented in its truest form.
✓ Mould-Resistant Backing: The rear of each frame features a mould-resistant white board, eschewing the use of MDF to protect and preserve your art prints. Your fine art is mounted to this professional-grade framing board for enhanced longevity.
✓ Ready to Hang: Every framed art print arrives ready for display, complete with unique hanging fixtures for easy installation.
Each print is available as; unframed (print only) or framed print (raw, black or white wooden frame).
White Border Details: A white border refers to a deliberate, unprinted margin surrounding the artwork on your selected print. While this border will slightly reduce the visible area of your chosen design, the overall dimensions of the 315 gsm matte fine art paper will remain unchanged.
This feature is designed to enhance the presentation of your artwork by providing a built-in matting effect.
