Nihiwatu Reef on Sumba, which is known as the “Forgotten Island” of Indonesia. Nihiwatu was a well-kept secret amongst hardcore, travelling surfers in the 1990s. With its dry, tropical climate and traditional villages, Sumba looks and feels very different from other surfing destinations in Indonesia.
