This break is a special place for me. Many Christmas holidays were spent here when l was a kid and this is where l basically learnt to surf. Every morning I’d walk the mile to get there, lugging my 7'2, green diamond-tail McGrigor. This painting is a stylized caricature of the place, depicting a good summer’s day at “ the bay”.
