Title: Pasola Horses
Artist: Jason Childs

The horse is at the heart of Sumbanese traditions. Nihi Sumba's 17 horses are Sandalwood, a breed native to the island and which takes its name from the Sandalwood Tree. Known for their endurance and easy temperament, they are mostly former racehorses living a dream retirement in paradise.
